Prof. Dr. Stefan Heinemann

Prof. Dr. Stefan Heinemann is Professor of Business Ethics at the FOM University of Applied Sciences and spokesperson of the Ethics Ellipse Smart Hospital at the Universitymedicine Essen and focuses on the economic and ethical perspective on digital medicine and the healthcare industry. He is head of the research group „Ethics of the Digital Health Economy & Medicine“ at the ifgs Institute for Health & Social Affairs of the FOM University of Applied Sciences, member of the „Working Group AI in Internal Medicine“ within the commission „Digital transformation of internal medicine“ as well as expert advisor in various research and educational institutions. In addition, the philosopher and theologian is a member of the scientific advisory board „Digital Transformation“ of the AOK Nordost, a member of the advisory board of the Institute for PatientExperience of the Universitymedicine Essen, a member of the social and health policy advisory board of the BARMER regional representation North Rhine-Westphalia and a member of the „Innovation circle blood donation“ of the DRK (German Red Cross) Blood Donation Service West. As well as on the board of the Cologne Science Round, chairman of the board of „Science City Essen“ and member of the board of trustees of sneep e. V., a student network for business and corporate ethics.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Heinemann ist Professor für Wirtschaftsethik an der FOM Hochschule und Sprecher der Ethik-Ellipse Smart Hospital der Universitätsmedizin Essen und fokussiert die ökonomische und ethische Perspektive auf die digitale Medizin und Gesundheitswirtschaft. Er ist Leiter der Forschungsgruppe „Ethik der digitalen Gesundheitswirtschaft & Medizin“ am ifgs Institut für Gesundheit & Soziales der FOM Hochschule, Mitglied in der „AG KI in der Inneren Medizin“ in der Kommission „Digitale Transformation in der Inneren Medizin“ der DGIM Deutsche Gesellschaft für Innere Medizin e.V. sowie Fachbeirat in diversen Forschungs- und Bildungsinstitutionen. Zudem ist der Philosoph und Theologe Mitglied im wissenschaftlichen Beirat „Digitale Transformation“ der AOK Nordost, Mitglied im Beirat des Institutes für PatientenErleben der Universitätsmedizin Essen, Mitglied im Sozial- und Gesundheitspolitischen Beirat der BARMER Landesvertretung Nordrhein-Westfalen und Mitglied des Innovationskreises Blutspendewesen des DRK-Blutspendedienstes West. Sowie im Vorstand der Kölner Wissenschaftsrunde, Vorstandsvorsitzender der „Wissenschaftsstadt Essen“ und Mitglied im Kuratorium von sneep e. V., einem studentischen Netzwerk für Wirtschafts- und Unternehmensethik.
